Obituary

WESTON: Douglas Boyd “Doug” Bradley, 64, died on Monday, September 7, 2015 at his residence in Weston following a period of declining health.
He was born in Detroit, MI the son of David H. Bradley and Barbara B. (Boyd) Bradley of Needham formerly of Weston.
Besides his parents, Doug is survived by his brothers David “Chip” Bradley, Jr. and his wife Lucy Bradley of Weston; Stephen Bradley and his wife Melinda Bradley of Wellesley and his sister, Elizabeth “Betsy” Coughlin of Kennebunk, ME. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
Doug has been a longtime resident of Weston and graduated from Weston High School with the Class of 1972. For many years, he was a clerk at Omni Foods in Weston before retiring. He was an avid fan of all of the Boston sports teams. Doug also enjoyed bowling and going to the movies on a weekly basis. In his earlier years, he played tennis and spent many family vacations in Belgrade Lakes, Maine which he looked forward to. There will be no funeral home visitations. A private family interment will be held at the Bradley family lot in Linwood Cemetery.
A Memorial Service celebrating Doug’s life will be held on Thursday, September 24, 2015 at 11:00am at St. Peters Episcopal Church, 320 Boston Post Road in Weston.
In lieu of flowers, his family kindly suggests that memorial gifts in Doug’s memory may be sent to Drumlin Farm, Mass Audubon, 208 South Great Road, Lincoln, MA 01773.
