Michelle A. (Melsbach) St. Pierre, age 62, of North Providence, formerly of Norton passed away, following a brief illness, on Thursday, September 17, 2015 at Miriam Hospital in Providence.
Born in Burlington, Vermont on December 5, 1952, she was a daughter of the late Frank Melsbach and Evelyn M. (Benjamin) Perkoski.
Michelle grew up in Norton and was a 1970 graduate of Norton High School. She later graduated in 1980 from the former Pondville Hospital School of Nursing; receiving a degree as an L.P.N.
Throughout her career as a nurse, she had been employed for several Rhode Island area nursing homes. A resident of North Providence for the past 5 years, she had formerly resided in Norton and was a communicant of St. Mary’s Church in Norton. Michelle will always be remembered for her love of animals and gardening.
She is survived by her husband Steven St. Pierre. She was the mother of Michael X. Wynn of North Attleboro, Amy E. Taylor and her husband Leon of New York, Benjamin F. Wynn and his wife Sarah of Tennessee and Timothy A. Wynn of Tennessee. She was the sister of Michael F. Morin and his wife Theresa of Woonsocket, Leonard F. Melsbach and his wife Ruth of California, Patricia A. Keegan of Connecticut and Marie E. Branche of Attleboro. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was the grandmother of the late Chloe Wynn and is also survived by her former husband Michael W. Wynn of Tennessee.
Her funeral Mass, to which relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend, will be celebrated on Saturday, September 26th at 10:00 A.M. in St. Mary’s Church, 1 Power St., Norton. Burial will be private,
