Doris M. McGuire, 86, of Lawrence passed away Sunday September 13th at the Merrimack Valley Hospice House in Haverhill. She was born in Lawrence daughter of Eva and George April. Doris was raised and educated in Lawrence and later worked at Raytheon for over 25 years. In her free time she enjoyed spending time at the St. Theresa’s Senior Center playing 45’s and enjoyed going on trips to Foxwoods with the group, but she mostly enjoyed spending time with her family.
Doris is survived by her children Thomas McGuire and his wife Sandra of Monument Beach MA, Denise McGuire of Methuen, Grandchildren Ryan McGuire and his wife Jacqueline of Las Vegas NV, Robin Fonger and her husband Cory of Taunton MA, Great Granddaughter Grace McGuire of Las Vegas NV and several nieces and nephews. Doris was predeceased by her husband Ernest A. McGuire.
Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend a graveside service for Doris on Monday September 21st at 11 AM at Elmwood Cemetery in Methuen.
