Laconia-Lorraine T. Buckley (Tierney) 87, of Court street died Sunday, September 13, 2015 at St. Francis Rehabilitation & Nursing Center.
Lorraine was born June 21, 1928 in Salem, MA, daughter to the late Martin and H. Irene (Mailing) Tierney. She worked as a secretary for the Essex County District Attorney for over twenty years. Lorraine enjoyed crocheting, knitting and was an avid beach goer. Her fondest memories with her family were their ski trips to Mount Whittier and Gunstock. Above all she loved spending time with her grandchildren.
Lorraine is survived by her loving son, Paul M. Buckley and his wife Lisa of Gilford, NH; three grandchildren , Catherine, Kelsey and James Buckley all of Gilford, NH. In addition to her parents she is predeceased by her son, James A. Buckley and her sister Jean Keefe.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, September 17, 2015 at 10:30am at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 15 Hawthorne Blvd., Salem, MA.
Burial will follow in the family lot at Greenlawn Cemetery, 57 Ome Street, Salem, MA 01970
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations may be made to St. Francis Rehabilitation and Nursing Center, 406 Court Street, Laconia, NH 03246
