Cecelia (Tashjian), Stark 79, of Rockland, died on September 12th in the South Shore Hospital, after a brief illness, surrounded by her loving family. She was the daughter of the late John L and Anna (Manning) Tashjian, devoted wife of the late Kenneth Stark and the late Richard Evers. Cecelia is survived by, her children Anna Clement and her husband Edward of Florida, Milion “Bill” Evers and his wife Susan of Wareham, Kathy Roberts and her husband William of Rockland, Susan LaRosa and her husband Michael of Randolph and Cynthia Degenhardt of Rockland, loving sister of John Tashjian and his wife Phyllis of Halifax. Cecelia was a loving grandmother to 20 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren. She will be sadly missed by her live in caretaker Donna Sehavilim and family.
Cecelia also lovingly called CC, recently retired from Venture Tape of Rockland MA where she was employed for 9 years as a Preco Team Leader were she leaves many good friends. Prior to Venture Tape, Cecelia worked at The Liberty Restaurant in Rockland MA. She was a volunteer for the Pembroke Imperials Drum and Bugle Corp for many years. Her life was full of love and caring for her grandchildren. Her favorite past time was spending the afternoon in her yard enjoying her family. She also spent many hours watching her favorite sports teams, the summer was the Boston Red Sox and winter was the Burins. CC also found private time gardening while creating beautiful roses which she would proudly display. CC always believed that she was younger than her years, she proudly announced to everyone that she was only 72.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral service on Thursday September 17th at 11:00 AM., in the Blanchard Funeral Chapel, Plymouth St. ( Rte 58 at the rotary circle) Whitman. Burial will follow in the Colebrook Cemetery, Whitman. Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday September 16th from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
