Ellen Merle Hall Sadler, 65, of Chula passed away Sunday, September 13, 2015, at her residence. Her funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, September 16, 2015, in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals with Rev. Talmadge Gilliard officiating. Mrs. Sadler will be laid to rest at Oak Ridge Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday, September 15, 2015, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals.
Roger Aultman, Steve Holsenbeck, Justin Hall, Jacob Webb, Bryan Rudd, Branden Hall and Homer Adams will serve as pallbearers.
Mrs. Sadler was born November 1, 1949 in Samaria, South Carolina, the daughter of Elmer Hall and Blondell Haywood Hall, both deceased. She was also preceded in death by one son, Dale Roberts; three brothers, Lindsey Hall, Wendell Hall and Arthur Hall; and one sister, Iceline Irvin. She was a homemaker and loved her husband and family.
Mrs. Sadler is survived by her husband, Charles Sadler of Chula; three brothers, Ray Hall of Tifton, Junior Hall and Tracy Hall, both of Batesburg, South Carolina; and four sisters, Ann Warren of Batesburg, South Carolina, Jane Robinson of Adel, Phyllis Wooden of Williston, South Carolina and LaVon Ediger of Colorado.
