Obituary

SOMERSET – Raymond A. Beaudry, age 69, passed away on Saturday, September 12, 2015 at home with his family by his side. He was the beloved husband of Jeannette A. (Pelland) Beaudry and he son of the late Clarence & Lillian (Gagne) Beaudry. Prior to retiring, Ray worked for Stop & Shop Co. 23 years as a meat cutter and assistant manager. During his retirement years, he worked for American Auto Auction, Fisher Bus Co., and was the Owner / Operator of Casablanca Limousine Service.

Ray was a veteran of the US Navy Reserves during the Vietnam Conflict, a parishioner of St. Francis of Assisi Church, past officer for the Independent Order of Foresters, past officer for the American Legion Post 314, past member of the Fall River Lodge of Elks, and enjoyed hunting with his family and friends.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children: Dawn Griffin (husband David) of Coventry, RI, Scott Beaudry (significant other Tina Oden) of Crofton, MD, and Denise Munroe (significant other Christopher Roy) of Swansea, MA; grandchildren: Ashley & Megan Griffin, Tyler & Abigail Beaudry, Isabelle & Ian Munroe, Adam & Jacob Oden; siblings: Normand Beaudry of Taunton, Roland Beaudry of Somerset, Rita Desrosiers of Florida; and many nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Georgette Wilson, Lorraine Souza, & Claudette St. Denis.

His funeral will take place from the Manuel Rogers & Sons Funeral Home, Inc. 1521 N. Main St. Fall River on Wednesday at 9:00 A.M. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Francis of Assisi Church, Swansea at 10:00 A.M. Cremation to follow. Calling hours on Tuesday from 4-8 P.M. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society Centralized Processing Center 30 Spleen St. Framingham, MA 01701.
