Mary Jane Schultz

Mary Jane (Cannon) Schultz, 85, of Anderson, died September 9, 2015 at St. Vincent Anderson Regional Hospital after a brief illness.
She was born on July 25, 1930 in Anderson, the daughter of Ellis C. and Wilma (Burner) Cannon. She was a graduate of Anderson High School and Indiana University, where she was a member of Tri Delta Sorority.
She married Frank Burns Schultz on June 13, 1953. She was a teacher at Anderson High School and later she was co-owner/operator with her husband of Fran Mar Cleaners in Anderson for 20 years. She was a member of First United Methodist Church, Tri Kappa Sorority, Gamma Associate Group, the Mid Century Club and was a life member of Indiana University Alumni Association.
She was an avid seamstress and enjoyed needle arts.
She is survived by two nieces, Lisa Skaggs of Fishers, and Linda (husband Dr. John) Van Arsdall of Louisville, KY. 3 great nephews; Andy (wife Marissa) Skaggs, Adam (wife Lacey) Skaggs, and Jack Van Arsdall, and a great niece, Catherine Van Arsdall. 3 great great nephews, Ezra, Jaxon and Jeston, and a great great niece, Jersie and life long friend Laurale' Johnson.
Preceded in death by her husband Frank B. Schultz in 2003, and her sister, Martha Renner in 2002.
Family services will be held at East Maplewood Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be given to the Animal Protection League or First United Methodist Church.
