Virginia Cruz, 36, of New Bedford died Friday May 20, 2005 at Mariner Healthcare of Southeastern Massachusetts after a long illness.
Born in New Bedford, the daughter of Mabel (Diaz) Cruz of New Bedford and the late Silvoil Cruz, she lived in New Bedford all of her life.
She enjoyed knitting, crocheting and dancing.
Survivors include her mother; a daughter, Nina M. St. Onge of New Bedford; a brother, Tony Grajales of Florida; three sisters, Milagros Padilla of New Bedford, Christina Silveira of New Bedford, and Nellie Cruz of Puerto Rico; her stepfather, Hector Hernandez of New Bedford; a grandson; many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
She was the sister of the late Edwardo Padilla.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her visiting hours in the Saunders-Dwyer Home for Funerals, 495 Park St., New Bedford, Monday evening May 23, 2005 from 7-9 PM.
