Doris (Beal) Boaz, 91, of Anderson, died September 9, 2015 at Countryside Manor Nursing Home.
She was born March 18, 1924 in Anderson, the daughter of Alice and Otis Beal Sr.
She worked in the Madison County Assessor's Office and was a member of St. Matthew United Methodist Church.
She is survived by her children: Linda (husband Rick) Young of Anderson, Mike (wife Janet) Boaz of Middletown and George (wife Diana) Boaz of Greenfield; four grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and a brother, Bob (wife Marie) Beal, and several nieces and nephews
She was preceded in death by her husband of 46 years, Clarence "Jack" Boaz Jr., and her brother and sister-in-law, Otis and Barbara Beal Jr.
Funeral service will be 2:30 PM on Saturday, at Rozelle Johnson Funeral Service, officiated by Pastor Daryl Gilbert. Burial at East Maplewood Cemetery will follow. Visitation will be from 1:30 to 2:30 on Saturday prior to the funeral
Memorial contributions may be given to the Madison County Humane Society.
