Leonora M. (Rezendes) Cabral-Andras, 86, of New Bedford formerly of Westport died Thursday, September 10, 2015 at St. Luke's Hospital. Born in Fall River, she was daughter of the late Manuel and Mary (Martin) Rezendes. Prior to retirement she was a CNA. She was a Communicant of St. James-Our Lady of Guadalupe Church, New Bedford and a former Communicant of St. John the Baptist Church, Westport.
Survivors include 2 sons: Manuel T. Cabral, Jr. and his wife Lori of Tiverton, RI and Thomas E. Cabral, Sr. and his wife Wendy of Bellwood, PA; a daughter: Kathleen L. Encarnacao and her husband Jack of New Bedford; 10 grandchildren: Kim, Tommy Jr., Chris, Kevin, Jack Jr., Jarid, Johnny, Justin, Shaylee and Tucker; 11 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was grandmother of the late Katherine Cabral.
The family would like to thank the staff of Brandon Woods of Dartmouth for the exceptional care and compassion she was given.
Funeral to which relatives and friends are invited will be Monday, September 14, 2015 from the Potter Funeral Home, 81 Reed Rd., Westport at 9:00 A.M. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. John the Baptist Church, Westport at 10:00 A.M.
Calling hours Sunday 1 - 4 P.M.
Interment in Beech Grove Cemetery, Westport.
