James D. Spinale of Medford died on Tuesday, September 8. Born and raised in Boston's West End, he was the son of the late Frank and Josephine (DeFranco) Spinale. A Medford resident for over 50 years, he was a proud member of Teamsters Local 25.
James was the beloved husband of the late Rose (Stagno) Spinale and the devoted father of Frank Spinale and his wife Diane of Arlington, and Josephine Spinale of Nashua, NH. He was the loving grandfather of Kathy Flynn and her husband Richard of Arlington, Frank J. Spinale and his partner Roxie of Billerica, and loving great grandfather of Kayla, Andrew, Molly and Brendan. James was the cherished brother of Joseph Spinale and his late wife Shirley of Malden, Mary Tringale and her husband George of Stoneham, and the late Daniel, Anthony, Anna Spinale and Millie Buttaro. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
A funeral mass will be celebrated in Immaculate Conception Church, 600 Pleasant St., Malden, Saturday, September 12 at 10 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend and may visit with the family at the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford, from 8:30 through 9:30 AM. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
