OREDA M. (PHELPS) SHEMWELL BLAIR, passed away on September 6, 2015.
She was a retired employee of Sts. Mary & Elizabeth Hospital where she worked for 21 years.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William Harve Phelps and Ada (Reeves) Phelps; brothers John Phelps and William H. Phelps, Jr., and her former husband and father of her children, William L. Shemwell.
Survivors include her devoted husband of 31 years, Oscar D. Blair; her daughters, Marilyn Faye Brewer (Stephen A.) and Rita Carol McDonald (James); and four grandchildren, James Gordon McDonald, Stephen William Brewer (Christy), Jason Allen McDonald and Stuart Allen Brewer; and great granddaughter, Hallie Katerina Brewer.
Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Wednesday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway with entombment in Louisville Memorial Gardens West.
Visitation will be 2:00–8:00 p.m. Tuesday and after 11:00 a.m. Wednesday.
