Dorothy A. Donoghue, age 67 of Woburn formerly of Arlington and North Cambridge, passed away May 19th following a lengthy illness. She was the beloved wife of Albert J. Donoghue. Born in Cambridge she was the daughter of the late Bertha C. (LeBlanc) and Andrew Gelinas.
Dorothy was a retired office worker for Bay Bank where she worked for twenty-five years. She was devoted to her family and enjoyed being surrounded by her children and grandchildren. It has been requested that in lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in her memory to the Mt. Auburn Oncology Clinic, Patient Education/ Assistance Fund, 330 Mt. Auburn St., Cambridge , MA 02138.
In addition to her husband Albert, Dorothy is survived by her seven children, Michael of Lynn, Joanne Harney of Falmouth, Eddie of Woburn, David of Missoula, MT, Janet Flodstrom of Stratham, NH, Tricia Nadeau of Maynard, and Fran of Haverhill. She is also survived by fourteen loving grandchildren. She is further survived by her brother Donald Gelinas and his wife Ann of Burlington. She is preceded in death by her sister Helen Burke and brothers; Ernest and Raymond Gelinas.
Funeral from the McLaughlin - Dello Russo Funeral Home 60 Pleasant St. Woburn, Monday, at 8 AM. Followed by a funeral mass celebarted in St. Charles Church 280 Main St. Woburn, at 9 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Sunday 2 thru 6. Services will conclude with burial at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Arlington.
