BELMONT – Clinton E. “Buddy” Crowder, 64, of 18 Silkwood Ave, died Monday, August 31, 2015 at the Hospice House in Concord after a long illness.
He was born on September 14, 1950 in Torrance, California, the son of the late Earl “Smokey” Patricia (Trendell) Crowder. In Clint’s early years, he was a boxer and a contender for the State of New Hampshire Golden Gloves. He followed in the footsteps of his uncle Stan West becoming a musician, playing bass and guitar. Most recently he played in the band “Classic Therapy”.
In 1988 he earned a degree at the University of Oregon. He worked as a Master Quality Assurance Manager, most recently for J Lieb Foods, Inc. in Oregon. He enjoyed the outdoors, especially boating on Lake Winnipesaukee and many lakes in Oregon. Clint enjoyed the company of animals, most recently the family dog, Hayley.
Clinton leaves one son and one daughter. He also is survived by his siblings; Fred Pike, Paul Pike, Pat White and Noel Ellinger, nieces, nephews and cousins, including his loving cousin Karen Trendell of Laconia. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his sister, Linda Kelley and three uncles; Stan West, A. Bruce Trendell and George Trendell.
There will be no calling hours.
A graveside service will be held at 3Pm on Friday, September 18, 2015 at Bayside Cemetery, Laconia. A gathering will be held immediately after the graveside service at his brother Fred’s home at 18 Silkwood Ave in Belmont.
