Marilyn B. Cubberley, 81, of Beach Point, North Truro, and Hilton Head, South Carolina died on Thursday, September 3rd, 2015.
Marilyn was born January 21, 1934 in Trenton, New Jersey. She had many passions which included golf, painting and the beauty of the lower Cape, specifically Truro where she resided for most of her life after serving in the Navy.
Marilyn is survived by her beloved partner of over 60 years, Dorothy M. Nearen, her loving niece Janice Nearen-Bell of Lynnfield, her devoted friend Carol Nickerson, her much loved cat and companion Sweet Pea, and many dear friends.
A graveside service will be held at Old North Cemetery, North Truro on Wednesday, September 9, 2015 at 11:00 am followed by a luncheon celebration of her life at the Harbor Hotel, Provincetown immediately following the service.
