Leigh Ann Schattner, 54, of Anderson died peacefully in her sleep September 1, 2015, after a brief illness.
Her daughter, Keri Winningham, was the light of her life, and preceded her in death one year ago.
She was born September 5, 1960 in Anderson and graduated from Highland High School in 1978, where she pursued photography and was a gifted athlete.
Leigh Ann enjoyed the outdoors and was an accomplished gardener. She worked in various clerical positions throughout her life.
She is survived by her mother, Judith Ann Pyles of Anderson; her father, Richard "Dick" (Delight) Schattner of Nashville, IN; sisters, Lori (Mark) Rumreich of Indianapolis; Lana (Eric) Haug of New Jersey; half brother, Lance (Nikki) Schattner of Anderson; half sister, Kristy Taylor of Texas; eight nieces and nephews, Erica, Cody, Marlow, Laine, Ethan, Alex, Lucas and Ozzie.
Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, September 10, 2015 at East Maplewood Cemetery with Ned Clark officiating.
