Obituary

Milan Perpich, Jr., 88, passed away on Tuesday, September 1, 2015.

He was a retired teacher having taught at Butler High School for 29 years. Milan also coached basketball, football and baseball at Butler High and was honored February 28, 1998 by having the baseball field named after him. He was the supervisor of the summer baseball program at Shively Park, was a member of the American Legion, a member of Shively Christian Church and an Army veteran of WW II.

Survivors include his beloved wife of 64 years, Barbara Tabor; his children, Mike Perpich (Jean Garris Perpich) and Tina Jaggers (Earl); three grandchildren, Nathan and Matthew Jaggers and Mackenzie Perpich; and his brother, Nick Perpich.

Funeral services will be 5:00 p.m. Thursday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway. Burial will be held 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, September 9, 2015 at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery, Central, Radcliff, KY.

Visitation will be from 1:00 -5:00 p.m. Thursday.
