Funeral from the Conley Funeral Home 138 Belmont Street(Rte 123)Brockton Tuesday at 9 am. Funeral Mass in the Immaculate Conception Church, North Easton at 10 am. Burial in Immaculate Conception Cemetery, North Easton. Jacqueline (Nadeau) Barber, passed away peacefully Tuesday May 17, 2005 at 82 years.Born in Fall River, she was the daughter of the late Albert and Alida (Fortin) Nadeau. She had lived most of her life in Brockton until moving to West Bridgewater in 1986. She was a graduate of Bentley College and helped her husband operate Barber’s Motor Tune-Up on Main Street in Brockton for over 30 years. She retired from Heath Consultants in Stoughton. She was an officer in both the Council on Aging in West Bridgewater and JOY, Just Older Youth.
She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Forrest E. Barber, three daughters and their husbands, Catherine Barber and her husband Michael Kosiba, Jacqueline and her husband Paul Jablonski and Roxanne and her husband Albert Madonna, two grandchildren, Gabriel and Grace Madonna, two sisters, Claudette Mazgelis, Alida Creedon, a brother, Paul Nadeau and a life long friend Gertrude Guay.
Sister of the late Leonard, Benny and Frank Nadeau, Henriette Czuba and Madeline Donahue.
