Louis Ruggiero, age 86 of Medford MA, died suddenly, Wednesday in the Florida Memorial Fish Hospital of Orange City, FL.
Born in Boston, MA, he was the son of the late Pellegrino and Sophia (Celata) Ruggiero. Mr. Ruggiero and his wife Connie just recently celebrated their 55th wedding anniversary. He served in the Army from 04/16/1941 to 11/07/1944.
Louis was a Truck Driver, employed by United States Postal Service for over 30 years, and he was a member of the American legion Post 45 of Medford, VFW of Medford and AARP.
He is survived by his wife Connie (Bramante) Ruggiero, father of Louis Ruggeiro and his wife Janet of Woburn, Wayne Ruggiero and Lynette of Medford, Karen Ruggiero of Golden, CO, and Debra Bolles and her husband John of Ipswich. Also survived by his grandchildren Jade,Janeen, Erica, Casi & Jesse. Brother of Lillian Cericola of Natick, Helen Smith of Medford, and the late Margaret Sprague, George, Angelo, Michael, Anthony, Henry and John Ruggiero.
Funeral from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford, Monday at 8 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated at the Immaculate Conception Church, 600 Pleasant St., Malden at 9 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Sunday 3 thru 8. Services will conclude with burial at St. Michael Cemetery, Boston. It has been requested that
