Fall River… Fernando Costa, 43, of Fall River passed away at home surrounded by his loving family. He was the husband of Rosita (Snyder) Costa. He was born in Fall River a son of Maria (Borges) Costa of Fall River and the late Jose Costa and had been a lifelong resident of this city.
He was a Communicant of the former Holy Rosary Church now St. Mary’s Cathedral. He was the owner of the former F & R Landscaping until his illness forced him to retire.
Mr. Costa enjoyed fishing, singing, and spending time with his family and friends.
Survivors include his wife, mother, a son Joshua W. Costa, 3 daughters: Desiree L. Costa, Kaitlin M. Costa, and Brittney R. Costa all of Fall River, 6 brothers: Antonio Costa of Fall River, Jeremiah Costa of Deltona, FL, Louis Costa of Swansea, John Costa, of Fall River, Michael Costa of Warwick, RI, Raymond Costa of Somerset, 2 sisters: Maria McGovern and Helen Sousa both of Fall River, 2 granddaughters: Sara Gillette and Aliyah Quiteiro, several nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Carlos Costa, Walter Costa, and Anna Senecal.
Funeral to which relatives and friends are invited will be held Thursday at 10AM at Holy Rosary Chapel, 120 Beattie Street, Fall River, MA 02723. Interment will be in Notre Dame Cemetery, Fall River, MA.
