Mrs. Leonilda Clericuzio, age 82 died at the Courtyard Nursing Home on Wednesday May 18th after a lengthy illness. Born in Mirabella, Avellino, Italy she was the beloved wife of the late Raimondo “Arturo” Clericuzio and the daughter of the late Pasqualina (Bruno) & Salvatore Minichello.
Leonilda worked for many years as a stitcher. In her retirement she enjoyed traveling, especially back to Avellino, Italy where she would visit with family and friends. Leonilda also enjoyed gardening in her spare time and of course preparing large meals for family visits. She has been a Medford resident for the last 37 years, formerly of Italy.
In addition to her beloved late husband Arturo, Leonilda is survived by her devoted children, Salvatore Clericuzio and Pasqualina DeSimone both of Medford, Linda DeSimone of Somerville. Also survived by 10 loving grandchildren and 7 loving great grandchildren.
Funeral from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., MEDFORD, Monday at 9 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Francis of Assisi Church, Fellsway West, Medford at 10 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Sunday 4 thru 9. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
