LACONIA – Eileen “Nana” Moulton died peacefully at home August 27, 2015 while surrounded by her family at the age of 91.
Born and raised in Laconia NH, Eileen was the daughter of Donna Nadeau. Married to Richard Moulton, she spent her days working in a secondhand clothing shop, flower and gift shop, and later in life volunteering at the Genesis Healthcare facility on Blueberry Lane. Eileen’s favorite times were reading to, crafting with and writing letters for the residents of Blueberry Lane where she assisted the activity director for many years. “Nana” relocated to Manchester after the loss of her husband to be near her daughter Connie and her family, where she lived for 13 years. While in Manchester, Eileen was able to focus her attention on her grandchildren and her beloved cats. A consummate caregiver, Eileen treated her cats like royalty while sharing stories of nearly a century of memories with her loved ones. Eileen will be missed by all who knew her.
Eileen is survived by her daughter, Constance Harvey and her husband Steve of Manchester, her brother, Durwood Woodman and his wife Judy from Connecticut, her sister-in-law, Polly Murphy from Belmont and her grandchildren; Jason Demers, Danielle Tiernan, and Daria Harvey. She was the proud grandmother to five great grandchildren. In addition to her mother, she was predeceased by her husband, Richard E. Moulton in 2001.
Eileen was a simple lady and requested no calling hours.
A graveside service will be held at 1PM on Friday, September 4, 2015 at Bayside Cemetery in Laconia.
