Obituary

Senn, Lemmah Lee (Bracey), 90, passed away of natural causes Tuesday, August 25, 2015 in her daughter's home with family by her side.
Lemmah was the oldest daughter to Edwina and Gilliam Bracey in Crittenden County, KY. She moved to Louisville with her family as a child and graduated from Valley High School in 1943. While living off of Cane Run Road met and married Bob Senn and started their family. An 80-acre farm in Valley Station became their home where they raised 6 children, many critters, and crops. Much of her life revolved around her family, farm, St Paul's Catholic Church and Our Lady of Consolation parish as well as their Valley Station community. She loved people well and invested in many lives. Lemmah volunteered tirelessly in multiple organizations her whole life, always putting others first.
Lemmah lost the love of her life three years ago and remarkably remained independent until three weeks before her death. Her amazing memory and ability to make and keep personal connections was a trait that benefited all who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bob; son, Jack; brother, Leonard Bracey; and sister, Jenny Meeve.
Surviving are her children, Judy Corbett (Ken), Bob Senn (Rita), Janet Gay Chalfant (Jack), Dan Senn (Toni), Jenny Hall (John), daughter-in-law Vickie Senn; eight grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. Extended family members and friends are many and she loved them all so well.
