Angelina (DeSalvo) Russo, 86, of Dedham formerly of Brighton died Tues may 17, 2005 at Caritas St. Elizabeth’s Hospital in Brighton.
Born and in the Boston’s West End she had lived in Brighton for over 40 years. While in Brighton she was a member of St. Columbkille Parish. She had worked as a sales clerk for R.H. Stearns and Lord & Taylor Department stores in downtown Boston. She had moved to Dedham 3 years ago.
Wife of the late John A. Russo, she is survived by her children Joann DiGiovanni and her husband Peter of Chelmsford, John A. Russo and his wife Carol of Saugus, Kathy Derany and her husband Stephen of Needham, and Mary Ann Russo of Holbrook; her brother and sisters Salvatore DeSalvo of Belmont, Jane Schriafa of Brighton and Rose Vatalaro of Newton; 7 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. She was the sister of the late Grace Coletti.
Relatives and friends will gather at the Eaton Funeral Home 1351 Highland Ave. Needham on Fri May 20 at 10 AM and proceed to a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Joseph Church Needham at 11 AM. Interment will follow at St. Michael’s Cemetery, Roslindale. Visiting hours will be in the funeral home on Thurs from 4-8 PM.
