Robert Joseph Pioli, 78, died Thursday, August 20, 2015. He was the devoted husband of Mary Ann (McIntyre) Pioli. They had been married for 57 years.
Born in Pawtucket, he was a son of the late Arthur and Jennie (Calabro) Pioli. He had worked as a division manager for Newport Creamery for forty-two years.
Besides his wife, he is survived by his son, Robert J. Pioli of Minneapolis, MN and his daughter, Lisa Ann Laidler and her husband Andrew, of Greenville, his two grandchildren and his great grandson, and his sister, Janice Poillucci of Mansfield. He is preceded in death by his daughter, Nancy Marie Trokey.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, August 24, 2015 at 9:30am in Saint Joseph’s Church, 144 Danielson Pike, North Scituate, with Burial in Mount Saint Mary Cemetery, 661 Prospect St, Pawtucket. Visitation 8-9am in the Anderson Winfield Funeral Home, Rt 44 at Greenville Common, Greenville. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to Saint Vincent De Paul Society, 622 Putnam Pike, Greenville, RI 02828.
