Shirley M. (Silva) Perry, 76, of Beverly Hills, FL, formerly of Westport, passed away on Thursday, August 20, 2015 at her daughter’s home, surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of the late Frank Perry, Sr.
Born in Fall River, she was the daughter of the late Joseph R. and Maria S. (Medeiros) Silva. Survivors include her son: Frank Perry, Jr. and his wife Elaine of Westport; her 2 daughters: Debra M. Bennett and her husband Gary of Somerset and Denise M. Carreiro of Little Compton; 1 brother; 3 sisters; 7 grandchildren: Michael Carreiro, Bonnie Ferreira, Heather Taylor, Kimberly Rego, Erin Sprague, Colby Perry and Shelby Perry; 7 great great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Perry was 1 of 18 children and was predeceased by 13 of her siblings.
Funeral service to which relatives and friends are invited will be Monday, August 24, 2015 at the Potter Funeral Home at 10:00 A.M.
Calling hours will be Sunday from 4-7 P.M.
Interment will be in Beech grove Cemetery, Westport.
