ALLSTON - Willaim E. Horne, 57, the former head of security at Boston’s Logan Airport, died
Sunday morning, May 15, after a brief illness.
He was born in Cambridge, March 22, 1948, a son of Eileen (Manning) Horne of Allston, and the
late Morris E. Horne. He lived the most of his life in the greater Boston area.
During the Vietnam War, he served stateside in the Massachusetts Army National Guard.
He worked as a Manager for Security of Logan Airport, and later at Los Angeles International
Airport (LAX).
Besides his mother, he is survived by a brother, Gregory Horne of Beverly, and a dear friend
Michael O’Brien of Allston.
A graveside service was held, Thursday, May 19, in St. Mary’s Cemetery, No.
Tewksbury.
