Worcester- Ann M. (Skebas) Dawidczyk, 82, of Ernest Ave., passed away peacefully Saturday, May 14, at home surrounded by her family.
Her husband, the late Walter J. Dawidczyk, passed away in 1985. She leaves two daughters, Diane M. Blessing of Milford and Nancy E. Caruso wife of Anthony R. Caruso, with whom she lived; four grandchildren, Amanda and Linda Caruso and Tiffany and Christopher Blessing; several nieces and nephews. Her sister, Albina Sabacinski, died in 1984. She was born in Worcester, daughter of Charles and Mary (Maksaliute) Skebas and lived here all her life. She graduated from David Hale Fanning Trade School.
Mrs. Dawidczyk was a stitcher for Davey’s Handbags, until retiring in the 1980’s. An avid reader of mystery novels, she also enjoyed doing word puzzles and sewing. She was also a huge Red Sox fan.
She was a devoted mother and grandmother who enjoyed spending time with her loving family. She was the perfect role model with her kind and caring way.
The funeral will be held Tuesday, May 17, from HENRY-DIRSA FUNERAL HOME, 33 Ward St., with a Mass at 10:30 in Our Lady of Czestochowa Church, 34 Ward St. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery. Calling hours are from 5 to 9 p.m. Monday, May 16, in the funeral home.
