Estelle R. LeBlanc, 89 of Medford, died Wednesday at the Anne Mark Nursing Home in Revere, MA. Born in Wedgeport, Nova Scotia, she was the daughter of the late Milford and the late Marie (Cottreau) Surette. Mrs. LeBlanc died following a lengthy illness. She was a Medford resident for over twenty years. She was born and raised in Nova Scotia and came to the United States at age sixteen. She worked for many years as a kitchen aid at Filenes Dept. Store.
Estelle is the beloved wife of the late Edgar A. LeBlanc. She is survived by three children, Shirley Palumbo of Medford, Edward of Somerville and Alice Whitfield of Carver. she is also survived by nine loving grandchildren and five loving great grandchildren and is the sister of Andre Surette of Nova Scotia, Theresa Eliott of Randolph, Mildred Porter of Revere, the late Madeline Harris, Jessie Ducette, Adeline Vuillemin, Annie Hubbard, Steve Surette, Marceline and Elizabeth LeBlanc. Funeral from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., MEDFORD, Saturday at 8 AM. Followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Joseph Church, 118 High St., Medford, at 9 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Friday 5 thru 9. Services will conclude with burial at Calvary Cemetery, Waltham.
