Thelma F. Sweezy, 88, of Franklin, NH, died Thursday, May 12, 2005 in the Mountain Ridge Center in Franklin. Thelma was born in Derry, NH on September 17, 1916, a daughter of the late George and Hazel (Burroughs) Sweezy. She was a resident of Franklin for the past two years, formerly living in Derry. She was employed for Klev-Bro Shoe Co. in Derry for 19 years, and by Chelmsford Shoe Co. in Derry for 22 years. While working with the Green Thumb, she had been employed at the Hood School library in Derry and at the Community Closet.
She is survived by her daughter, Frances E. MacDonald of Franklin, her granddaughter, Virginia Bosco of Plymouth, NH, three great-grandsons, Michael Bosco, Daryl Bosco, Anthony Bosco, and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, May 17th at 11:00am in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch St., Derry with cremation following.
