Joseph E. Sheff of Dedham, died May 12, 2005 at the Jordan Hospital in Plymouth. He was 87. Mr. Sheff was born in Roslindale and lived in Dedham for many years and Sandwich for the past 30 years. He was a World War II U.S. Airforce Veteran and a member of the Sandwich Knights of Columbus and the Sandwich American Legion. He worked as an office manager for General Motors.
Beloved husband of Corina E. (Braconi) Sheff. Devoted father of Paul E. Sheff and his wife Jamyn of Boylston, MA, John J. Sheff and his wife Nanette B. Schieron of Marshfield Hills. Grandfather of Will R., Daniel M., and Nina G. Sheff all of Boylston. Brother of Frances Kudless of Staten Island, NY, Anne McCarthy of Norwood, and Mary Sullivan of Peabody.
Funeral from the George F. Doherty & Sons Wilson-Cannon Funeral Home, 456 High St., Dedham, on Monday at 10:30 am. Funeral mass in St. Mary’s Church, Dedham, at 11 am. Relatives and friends kindly invited. Visitation Monday morning prior to mass 9:30-10:30am. Private interment will be in Brookdale Cemetery, Dedham.
