Obituary




James Patrick Polillio, a resident of Stoughton, passed away unexpectedly Wednesday May 4, 2005 at the Caritas Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton. He was 59 years old. He was the loving son of Mrs. Virginia L. (Cremin) Polillio of Stoughton and the late Mr. James T. Polillio. He is survived by his brothers Ralph E. Polillio and John P. Polillio, both of Stoughton and his sister Priscilla- Ann Polillio also of Stoughton. He was also a brother to the late Michael F. Polillio.

Mr. Polillio was born June 25, 1945 in Canton, Massachusetts. He moved to Stoughton and attended Stoughton Public Schools.

He was a career employee of his fathers construction company, James T. Polillio & Sons Construction Company of Stoughton.

He was also a communicant of the Immaculate Conception Church in Stoughton.

Mr. Polillio enjoyed sports of all kinds including football , boxing and he had a special interest in horse racing.

A funeral mass to celebrate Jimmy’s life will be held on Saturday May 14, 2005 at 9:00 A.M. in the Immaculate Conception Church, 122 Canton Street, Rt. 27 Stoughton. At the family’s request, visiting hours have been omitted and his interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Stoughton Food Pantry, C/O The Immaculate Conception Church, 122 Canton Street, Rt. 27, Stoughton, MA 02072, in Jimmy’s memory, would be appreciated. Funeral arrangements entrusted to the Sheehan Funeral Home, 115 Monk Street, Stoughton.
