Donald R. Herring, 61, of Fitzgerald, Georgia, died Tuesday, May 10, 2005 at Dorminy Medical Center.
Graveside Services will be held at 11:00 A. M., Friday, May 13, 2005 at Evergreen Cemetery, with Rev. Dan Hayes officiating. Visitation will be held Thursday from 7:00 until 9:00 P. M. at the funeral home
Mr. Herring was born February 18, 1944, in Fitzgerald, Georgia to the late L.H. and Fannie Yancey Herring. He lived in the community most of his life and was a former employee of Modern Fibers and Johnnie’s Drive-In. Mr. Herring was a member of Blockhouse Baptist Church in Telfair County and attended The Nazarene Church in Fitzgerald.
Mr. Herring is survived by two sons and a daughter: Donald R. Herring, Jr., Tony Herring and Renee Herring, all of Florida; two grandchildren; one sister: Annette Roberson of Fitzgerald.
