RESEDA, CA - Lucille T. “Lucy” (Saindon) Czarnecki, age 83, wife of the late Francis S. Czarnecki, Sr., of Reseda, CA, formerly of Salem, died Monday, May 9, 2005 at the Tarzana Regional Medical Center, Tarzana, CA, following a brief illness.
Born in Salem, she was the daughter of the late Emile and Eva (Bernier) Saindon and was a resident of Salem until moving to California in 1992.
Prior to her retirement in 1983, she was employed at Bicknell & Fuller in Peabody for 28 years.
She was a member of the Polish Legion of American Veterans, USA, Ladies Auxiliary, Post #55 in Salem.
Mrs. Czarnecki is survived by one son, Francis S. Czarnecki, Jr. and his wife, Cindi of Reseda and with whom she resided, two grandsons, Francis and his wife Kimberly Czarnecki of North Andover, MA, Brad A. Czarnecki of St. Petersburg, Florida, one great grandson, Alexander Czarnecki of North Andover and several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Lorraine Saindon and Annette Parent.
Her funeral service will be held Saturday, May 14, 2005 at 8 am from the Full-Spychalski Funeral Home, 84 Washington Square East, by Salem Common, Salem, followed by a funeral Mass at St. James Church, Salem at 9 AM. Burial in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Salem. Visiting hours are Friday, 4 to 8 pm. Relatives and friends invited. For those who desire, donations in her memory may be made to the Susan G.
