Ray Clark, 68, of Irwin County, Georgia, died Tuesday, August 11, 2015, at Dorminy Medical Center in Fitzgerald, Georgia.
A private memorial will be held at a later date.
Mr. Clark was born October 17, 1946, in Coldwater, Michigan, to the late Loyel Dale and Betty Jane Fisher Clark. He served his country honorably in the United States Army, during the Vietnam War. Mr. Clark moved to the community in 1971 and was a retired truck driver and owner /operator of Clark Trucking. He enjoyed fishing and going to the river. Mr. Clark was a member of the Moose Club and the Vietnam Veterans group.
He is survived by his wife: Peggy Clark of Fitzgerald; a son: Dennis Ray Clark of Colorado; and several grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; two step-daughters: Stephanie Ross of Lees Summit, Missouri and Crystal Hutchinson of Ocilla; two brothers: Garret Clark of Florida and Donald Clark of Ty Ty; two sisters: Melvina C. Sabala & Gary of Bellflower, California and Dale Jane C. Buchan of Wray and a niece: Deana Sabala of Bellflower, California. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter: Betty Jo Losinski and a step-daughter: Sandra McGlaughn.
