Louise (Caron) Sullivan, 92, of Salem, passed away peacefully, in her home, surrounded by her loving family. She was the devoted wife of the late William T. Sullivan and daughter of the late Leonidas and Delvina (Fugere) Caron.
Louise was born, raised and died in the family home in Salem. She was a graduate of St. Chretienne Academy and as a young woman first worked for Sylvania. However, she was born to be a caregiver and so left Sylvania to care for her mother and over the years many members of her family, as she was the youngest of thirteen children. Louise lived her life with an angelic heart, patience and a kindness that always saw the best in people. Louise was a wonderful mother, grandmother and friend, who enjoyed entertaining, baking and cooking for any occasion that brought family together.
Louise had an adventurous spirit and enjoyed traveling (especially her many casino escapades throughout the years), as well as dining out at fine restaurants. She was a funny but fierce competitor at board and card games with family members. Louise was a life long active member of Ste. Anne Parish. She enjoyed working the Annual Christmas Fair and Grandma’s Attic with her many parish friends. She was passionate about her faith and her church.
“Mimi” is survived by her sons, James W. Sullivan of Salem and Robert T. and his wife Mary J. Sullivan of Beverly, her grandchildren William S. and Kelly M. Sullivan, both of Beverly, her sister, Antoinette Simmons of Salem as well as many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and personal friends of Louise are invited to her Grave Side Service on Saturday, August 15, 2015 at St. Mary’s Cemetery, 226 North St., (Route 114) Salem at 11:20 A.M. Guests are invited to meet inside the main gate of the cemetery at 11:00 A.M. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Care Dimensions, 75 Sylvan St., Suite B-102, Danvers, MA 01923.
