Salvatore “Sam” Contarino, age 50 of Methuen passed away suddenly on August 9, 2015. Sam was born on January 12, 1965 in Lawrence to Ronald Contarino and Marcelle (Poulin) Martino. He was an avid Boston Sports fan and loved music. Sam worked for several local contractors and will be remembered for his hard work ethic. “Sammy from Methuen” will be known for his “hot sports takes” as a regular caller to the Felger and Mazz Show on 98.5 the Sports Hub.
Sam was the loving son of Ron Contarino and his wife Cheryl of Lawrence and Marcelle Martino of Salem, NH. He was the dear brother of Ronnie Contarino and his wife Kelley of Salem, NH and Jessica Sharp and her husband Bobby of Methuen. Sam was the devoted uncle of Paul, Mia, Julia, and Bobby.
Friends and guests are invited to call on Friday, August 14, 2015 at 3:00 PM until 7:00 PM at the Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home, 233 Lawrence St. Methuen.
