FISKDALE-Pauline C. (Granville) Lind, 76, of 38 Clark Road, formerly of Worcester, died Saturday, May 7th in Beaumont Nursing Home in Northboro after a long illness. She leaves her husband of 55 years, Carl R. Lind, 2 daughters, Susan C. wife of John H. Tanona of Worcester and Patricia A. wife of Dr. Gary F. Jeznach of Sturbridge, 2 sisters, Edith Millward of Florida and Grace Giguere of Arizona, 3 grandchildren, Kimberly, Matthew and Christopher Jeznach, several nephews and nieces. A brother, Everett Granville, Jr. and a sister, Shirley Markarian predeceased her.
She was born in Ware the daughter of Everett and Edith (McLaughlin) Granville and graduated from South High School in 1946. Mrs. Lind worked as a secretary for 25 years in various departments of Memorial Hospital the latest being the surgical unit. Previously she worked for Marcus Shoe Company for many years. She was a member of St. Anne-St. Patrick’s Church in Fiskdale and was an active member of the Sturbridge and Worcester Senior Centers. She enjoyed sewing, traveling and the beach.
The funeral is Wednesday, May 11th from O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue, Worcester with a Mass at 10:00 AM in St. Peter’s Church, 931 Main Street. Burial will at the convenience of the family. Calling hours are Tuesday, May 10th from 6:00 until 8:00 PM in the funeral home.
