Eleanor J. (Geromini) Messere, 89, of Franklin, died August 10 in Milford Regional Medical Center. She was the wife of the late Anthony P. “Hank” Messere who died in 2011.
Born in Franklin, June 25, 1926, the daughter of the late Anthony and Teresa (Giulliotti) Geromini, Mrs. Messere was a lifelong Franklin resident.
Mrs. Messere had worked as an assembler for Whiting and Davis for many years. She had previously worked for the New England Telephone Company.
Eleanor had also worked in the Office of the Franklin Recreational Department and had been a poll taker at Town elections for many years.
She is survived by her daughters, Carol A. Kautz and her husband Fred and Judith M. Albright and her husband Barry.
She is also survived by her grandchildren, Catherine Kautz, Elizabeth Kautz and Michael Albright.
She was the sister of the late Robert A. Geromini.
Her funeral mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, August 12, in St. Mary’s Church at 10:00.
Burial will be in the parish cemetery,
Visitation will be on Wednesday from 8:30 -9:30 a.m. in the Ginley Funeral Home of Franklin (www.ginleyfuneralhomes.com) 131 Main Street, Franklin.
