Obituary

Laconia-----Edward W. Morin, 77, formerly of Gilford, died peacefully on Wednesday, August 5, 2015 at the Laconia Rehabilitation and Nursing Center.
Edward was born on May 25, 1938 in Laconia the son of the late Charles O. and Alvira (Collette) Morin. Edward served in the United States Army. He was a plumbing contractor at Don Morin Associates Inc. until his retirement. He was a member of the National Association Plumbing & Heating Contractors. Edward was a communicant of Sacred Heart Church. He enjoyed spending time at his summer home in York Beach, Maine. He was an avid Red Sox and Patriots fan, he also loved to golf.
Edward is survived by his wife, Ellen (Isabelle) Morin of Laconia, his brother, Donald P. Morin, Sr. of Gilford and several nephews and nieces. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a brother, Charles Morin Jr. in 2012.
Calling hours will be held on Sunday, August 9, 2015 from 1:00pm – 3:00pm at the Wilkinson-Beane-Simoneau-Paquette Funeral Home, 164 Pleasant Street, Laconia NH using the Carriage House entrance.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, August 10, 2015 at 11:00am at St. Andre Bessette Parish-Sacred Heart Church, 291 Union Ave. Laconia NH.
Burial will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Laconia NH.
