Monique Y. Bourassa, 66 of Londonderry, NH, died Saturday, May 7, 2005 at her home. Mrs. Bourassa was born in Lawrence, MA on June 20, 1938, a daughter of the late Alfred and Grace (Carrier) Guerin. She was a resident of Londonderry for a year and a half, formerly living in Lawrence, MA. She was employed as a transcriber for Andover Companies in Andover, MA retiring in 2004. She was a choir member of Sacred Heart Church in Lawrence, MA for 50 years and she also loved to spend time with and care for her grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband of 41 years, Armand J. Bourassa of Londonderry, a daughter, Danielle Barrett and her husband Daniel of Londonderry, a son, Christopher Bourassa and his wife Sharon of Lawrence, three grandchildren, Ryan and Aidan Barrett of Londonderry, and Emily Rose Bourassa of Lawrence, five sisters, Yvette Guerin of San Diego, CA, Pauline Ortner of El Cajon, CA, Dot Chapdelaine of Salem, NH, Martha LaRochelle of Derry, NH and Claudette Ackroyd of N. Andover, MA, a sister-in-law, Edith Guerin of Hampton, NH, and is also survived by several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a brother, Gilles Guerin and a sister, Monique Guerin.
Following cremation friends may call from 5-8pm, Tuesday, May 10th in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 290 Mammoth Rd., Londonderry. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday at 10:00am in the St. Jude Parish, 435 Mammoth Rd., Londonderry, NH 03053. The burial will be in the Holy Cross Cemetery, Londonderry.
