HANNIGAN of Brockton May 5, William E. “Bill” Hannigan 47 years. Son of George C. Hannigan of Denmark, Maine formerly of Brockton and the late Elfreda (Whynock) Hannigan.Funeral from the J. Frank Conley Funeral Home 138 Belmont St. (Rte 123) Brockton Wednesday at 8 AM. Funeral Mass in St. Colman Church at 9 AM. Burial in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation Wednesday 8-8:30 AM.
Mr. Hannigan died Sunday at his home after a period of failing health. He was born in Brockton son of George C. Hannigan of Denmark, Maine and the late Elfreda (Whynock) Hannigan. He was a lifelong resident of Brockton and a graduate of Brockton High School Class of 1972. He had also attended Massasoit Community College.
Bill was a self employed mechanic in Brockton area garages.He enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle and was the past president of the former Last Chance Clean and Sober Motorcycle Club in Abington.In addition to his father he is survived by one son William Hannigan of Bridgewater2 sisters Cheryl Guerrette of Georgetown, Mass. and Debra Moran of West Dennis3 brothers James F. of Bethel, Maine; John J. of Brockton and Robert G. of Denmark, MaineSeveral nieces and nephews
