Duncan, John Dunn "Jack".
Jack, formerly of Southern Pines, NC died of cancer on May 5, 2005 in his home in Quincy, MA. He was born in Glasgow, Scotland in 1919.
He was a loving husband to the late Betty Duncan. He was the loving father of Tricia Hanson of Brookline, MA, the cherished grandfather of Christina Pinkerd of Orinda, CA and Katie Rowe of Hot Springs, VA, the dear uncle of Bette Merchant of Minn, MN and adored great-grandfather of Alysha and Noelle.
Jack was a British World War II war hero. He was a great sportsman and especially enjoyed tennis and golf.
He was a very kind and generous person and will be greatly missed.
A family Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
