Mrs. Muriel F. (Rich) Hamel Therrien, 74, of Milan, NH passed away on Tuesday May 3, 2005 at the Coos County Nursing Home in Berlin. She was born in Milan, NH on June 18, 1930 the daughter of Victor and Lucy (Fitts) Rich and lived in Berlin and Torrington, CT for several years and returned to Milan in 1983. Mrs. Therrien was a member of St. Kieran Church, now known as Good Shepherd Parish and a member of the Emily Flint Rebekah Lodge in Milan. Prior to her retirement she was employed as a school bus driver for several years and also employed at Granite State Rubber Company and the Eastern Depot Restaurant.
Members of the family include 2 sons Gerard Hamel and his wife Paula of Milan and Leonard Hamel and his wife Janet of Manchester, NH; 2 daughters Cheryl Labonte and her husband Norm of Milan and Noella Holt and her husband Carl of Milan; 12 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; 3 brothers Gordon Rich of Gorham, Erland Rich of West Dummer and Gary Rich of Milan; nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her first husband Delphis Hamel and her second husband Paul Therrien; by a brother Norman Rich; and by an infant daughter Linda..
SERVICES: Funeral services will be held on Friday morning May 6, 2005 at 11:00 AM in the chapel of the Bryant Funeral Home, 180 Hillside Avenue, Berlin, NH. Interment will be in the St. Kieran Cemetery in Berlin. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday evening from 6 to 9 PM. Anyone who wishes may make a donation in her memory to the Alzheimer’s Association.
