Obituary

Pauline (Glover) Cunningham, 68, of New Bedford died May 3, 2005 at St. Luke's Hospital after a brief illness.
She was the wife of the late Harvey S. Cunningham.
Born and raised in Nottingham, England, daughter of the late George and Lily (Day) Glover, she met her future husband while he was stationed in England during the Korean War. They married on February 12, 1955 and she resided in New Bedford most of her life.
Mrs. Cunningham was a member of the New Bedford Transatlantic Brides and Parents Association, a group formed for British women who married American servicemen.
She enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren.
Survivors include sons, Scott A. Cunningham of Boston and Mark T. Cunningham of New Bedford; daughters, Lisa A. Cliff of Westport and Elaine M. Bishop, and her husband Steven, of Norton; a sister, June England of England; 5 grandchildren; as well as several nieces and nephews.
She was also the grandmother of the late Kyle Bishop.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Funeral Service in the Saunders-Dwyer Home for Funerals, 495 Park St., New Bedford, Friday, May 6th at 11 AM.
Visiting hours Thursday, May 5th from 4-8 PM.
Interment Rural Cemetery.
