William R. Montgomery, age 79, of Fall River, passed away on July 30, 2015. His was the husband of the late Florence (Duclos) Montgomery, and son of the late William A. and Laura (Rogers) Montgomery. He was a U.S. Air Force Veteran of the Korean War, a self-employed truck driver and then went on to work at Independent Nail Manufacturing until retiring. William also enjoyed playing cribbage and fishing.
He is survived by his children; Melissa Montgomery of fall River, MA, Lisa White of Kissimmee FL, Marlene Beck of Cleveland, TN, and William Keath Montgomery of Oxford, PA, step-children; Roger B. Manchester, Donna Jarvais, Rose Marie and Susan Manchester, siblings Sharon Jenks of Solona Beach CA, Barbara Montgomery of Rancho Cucamonga CA, Dorothy Flowers of Las Vegas, NV, and Carol Berard of Mesquite, NV, several grandchildren, great-grandchildren nieces and nephews. He was also the sister of the late Vivian Thibault.
