Theresa (Thibodeau) Perlmutter, age 89 of Lawrence passed away peacefully on July 30, 2015. Mrs. Perlmutter was born on March 31, 1926 in Lawrence to Charles and Marie (Rodrique) Thibodeau. She was a dedicated long time communicant of Sacred Heart Church of Lawrence, prior to its closing. Mrs. Perlmutter was a long time employee of JoGal Shoe Company of Lawrence where she retired. She loved scratch tickets and The Three Stooges. Theresa loved walking all over the City of Lawrence, many times she would be found walking the entire length of Essex Street.
Mrs. Perlmutter was the beloved wife of the late Samuel Perlmutter. She was the devoted mother of Robert Rossignol and his wife Sonya. Mrs. Perlmutter was the dear sister of Rose Thibodeau. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Mrs. Perlmutter is predeceased by 21 brothers and sisters.
Friends and guests are invited to call on Monday, August 3, 2015 from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM at the Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home, 233 Lawrence St. Methuen. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home immediately following the reception beginning at 11:00 AM. Interment to follow at Immaculate Conception Cemetery of Lawrence.
