Joan P. (Sasso) Milano of Arlington died Thursday, July 23. Born in Boston, she was the daughter of the late John and Caroline (DiCristoforo) Sasso. Joan was a longtime resident of The North End, East Boston and Medford.
She was the beloved wife of the late Anthony Milano and the devoted mother of Phyllis Susi and her husband Joseph of Wakefield. Joan was the loving grandmother of Diana Susi, and great grandmother of Gianna Susi, both of Wakefield. She was the sister of John Sasso and his wife Virginia of Arlington, the late Marie, Caroline, Louise, Geraldine, Jean, and is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be conducted in the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford on Monday, July 27, at 10:30 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend and may visit with the family on Sunday, July 26, from 4 through 8 PM. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
