TEWKSBURY - Mr. Anthony Paul “Tony” Palino Sr., age 73, died unexpectedly at his Tewksbury home on Saturday morning, July 25. He was the beloved husband of Susan M. (Dunham) Palino, with whom he had celebrated a forty-second wedding anniversary this past October twenty-eighth.
He was born in Somerville in October 1941, but was raised in Woburn, where he resided until he moved to Tewksbury in 1972 to begin his family. He was a graduate of Woburn Senior High School.
Tony was a career precision machine specialist in the tool and die manufacturing business.
He will be remembered for his lifelong devotion to his wife, children, grandchildren, extended family, and was described as the consummate “family man.”
Besides his beloved wife, he leaves four children, Melissa S. Crowley and her husband Brian of Tewksbury, Anthony P. Palino Jr. and his wife Beth (Kelly) of Pembroke, MA, Stephen P. Palino and his partner Paul (Emery) Palino of So. Lawrence, and Kevin M. Palino of Tewksbury; five grandchildren, Kyle and Evan Crowley, Isabella, Vincent and Anthony Palino III; two brothers, Joseph A. Palino Jr., Dennis P. Palino and his wife Linda of Woburn; many nieces and nephews including his Godson, Michael Palino of Woburn; longtime family friend, Sherry Bumpus-Regan of Tewksbury; and was predeceased by his sister-in-law, Pasqualina “Lee” Palino.
Visiting hours Tuesday, July 28, from 4:00 until 7:00 p.m. in the Tewksbury Funeral Home, corner of 1 Dewey and 975 Main Sts. (Rte. 38) TEWKSBURY CENTER, Ph. (800 in MA or 978) 851 2950.
